American Dream

The authors dream was to become President of the United States of America. The author was from the south and went through a lot. He was taught to hate gays, blacks, jews, christians and communists simply because his father did. His father was a part of the KKK but died when the author was 8. The author admitted to being homosexual. He wants people to share their love with the world without being put down because of the gender that lover is.

Paraphrase Passage

According to Lester, James D. in the Writing Research Papers. 2nd ed. (1976), their are students who often overuse direct quotation while taking notes. As a result of this, students use quotations in their final paper. The amount of quotations that should appear in your paper are only 10%. Knowing this, you should limit your source information while you take notes.

Reflections on Research Article

This artile was interesting to me and my group. Considering we are all CJS majors, we felt that this was an intriguing article. It really shows what tasers can do to people who are not healthy for them. These are dangerous items but are so useful for police agencies.

This source is very helpful to my research. This article shows difference perspectives people have on soccer and how it relates to them. This shapes my argument greatly because I think America should be in the same category as Europe. It’s going to take time but I can wait.
